Setting audio and video device in a PC

To open Client Configurator and check the right configuration of your webcam/microphone/speakers, you can alternatively:

click on the Client Configurator icon on your desktop

click on Client Configurator in Start -> Programs -> easymeeting folder -> Client Configurator

open easymeetingOnCall -> Tools Menu -> Setup easymeeting™ Client

open easymeetingOnCall (not logged in) -> tab Setup -> easymeeting™ Client -> Setup button

Once opened the Client Configurator click on the Configuration wizard

Then choose audio/video configuration wizard.

After a welcome message, the video configuration window will open:

Click on YES if the device is correctly selected. If not, click on No, change device and click YES again. After device confirmation there’s this window:

Click on TEST, if your webcam work properly you will see the image correctly.

If you cannot see the image, click NO, reselect the proper device and make the test again.

By clicking YES, you have access to the Audio Input Configuration section to set the reception of the audio signal:

If the device selected is correct, click YES. Otherwise click NO and select the correct device.

Check and confirm the input line of the device, so move to the next window.

Click on Test.

After you regulate the level of the black bar, try to talk and be sure the level of the yellow bar is moving. If it moves, click YES, otherwise click NO, select the correct input and make the test again. At this point, we move on to Audio Output Configuration.

Click on YES if the device is correctly selected. If not, click on NO, change device and click YES again. After device confirmation there’s this window:

Click on Test.

You should hear a voice saying “easymeeting: we move ideas, not people.”. Adjust the level of the audio using the bar on the left. If you do not hear anything, click NO and correct the device selection. Otherwise, click YES and proceed on the test.

 

After having configured each device, the last step allows you to verify the complete operation of the selected items.

Click once on the TEST button. At this point the webcam will take the video stream and the level of the yellow bar will lift at the sound of your voice.

At this time you can click Done. If you have any problem in audio/video, you can click on the two “Click here” buttons to jump back on each device section.
