The Supervisor becomes the Tutor of the polling, and so for first he has to send the PowerPoint (previously managed with the videolearning tagger) to all users. If some users haven’t got PowerPoint software installed, he has to use the Videolearning JPEG function instead the normal videolearning function.
PC: PowerPoint synchronization button
When the PowerPoint is synchronized on the first slide that contains the quiz, from the main horizontal menu -> Windows -> videolearning the Supervisor can open the control panel of videolearning.
Please note that if the Supervisor synchronizes on a slide that hasn’t got a videolearning tagged quiz, the videolearning control panel won’t open.
The videolearning control panel is shown below:
Videolearning control panel: view of a finished session
The supervisor opens the test session by pressing the button marked by the letter A in the box 1.
At this point the system asks if the user wants to save the excel file that contains the poll results.
PC: save the videolearning results window
Click YES and you can choose folder and name of the file (automatic settings as the date and time of the session) and, at this point, the videolearning session starts. The “Elapsed time” in the “Session” area begins to flow.
In this moment all the users visualize the Videolearning Answer panel, but it is disabled.
The supervisor now opens the first quiz by pressing the button marked with the letter C in the “Quiz” area (box number 2).
Also here, the relative time begins and at this moment all users can choose the correct answer and send their choice.
Answers are collected in real time and displayed in the Supervisor control panel of videolearning.
When the tutor wants, close the quiz presses the button marked by the letter D.
The system automatically count and check answers entered by each participant, displayed in a matrix where the columns are questions and the rows are users (Quiz Summary area). The correct answer is seen by the supervisor in the first row. The word “nr” beside the name of the user stands for “not received” and means that the user did not give an answer in the available time by the tutor.
The Supervisor / Tutor leaves the quiz open as long as he consider necessary for the other users to answer.
To end of the polling the Supervisor has to press the stop button (letter B) in the “Session” area (box 1). The system automatically calculates the percentage of correct answers, of a single user, or of a single question asked.
This feature is available only with the role of Supervisor and using a PC.
