easymeeting™ automatically disables/enables echo cancellation depending if you’re using or not headphones, but you can also force to use/not to use in your Audio window (PC) or the main menu (iPad/Android).
Tablet & smartphone: webcam button
To open the Audio Window use the main horizontal menu -> Windows -> Audio Control if you’re on a PC.
If you’re using a tablet/smartphone, go to the main menu at the top of the video conference interface and turn on/off AEC (Activate Echo Canceller).
The “activate the echo cancellation” option is selected if you’re not using headphones. This is a software solution included in easymeeting™ that cancel the audio from the speakers when gets back into your microphone. Moreover, you can choose between different types of echo cancellers by using the Client Configurator software.
If you’re using headphones you don’t need echo canceller at all.
The echo canceller does not replace an echo cancellation hardware (recommended solution for a business meeting) but is suitable to use at an unexpected video when there are more than one participant in front of the same PC, in a small office or with a silent background atmosphere.
